Itinerary
Day 1
Upon arrival, our crew will greet you and escort you to the taxis for a short ride to the harbor to board the tenders. Once on board Majik, you’ll be welcomed with a cold towel and drink. After a safety briefing and vessel tour, your journey will begin. After lunch, you’ll approach Pulau Saonek Kecil, a great spot for a check-dive to get familiar with the boat’s equipment and the waters. Wrap up your first day with a tasty dinner as the day winds down.
Day 2
Start your day with an exciting dive adventure. After breakfast, explore “Blue Magic,” known for its big-eyed trevally and occasional Oceanic manta. Nearby, “Mioskon Reef” offers strong currents and fish species, with a chance to spot a Wobbegong shark under the corals. After lunch, dive at the famous “Cape Kri,” where divers often encounter a stunning variety of fish.
Day 3
We will start from Piaynemo, surrounded by some of the most stunning marine sites in the area. Dive into “Melissa’s Garden,” a breathtaking site known for its vibrant corals and schools of fish, and explore “My Reef,” a submerged spot with strong currents, where you might encounter whitetip sharks or trevally. After a delicious lunch, discover the sloping ridges of “Batu Rufus,” where yellow snapper schools play and hawksbill turtles graze. Finish the day with a short walk to a viewing platform for panoramic views of Raja Ampat’s iconic landscape, then return to the boat to relax with a refreshing drink and the scent of dinner.
Day 4
After a night’s journey, wake up to the stunning scenery of Daram, a remote area with no permanent inhabitants and part of an extended marine reserve. Dive into highlights like “Candy Store,” “Andiamo,” and “Warna Berwarna,” where large sea fans and table corals thrive, and schools of yellow snapper and barracuda scatter at your approach. In the afternoon, the boat heads to Yillet, offering the dive sites “Romeo” and “Juliette.” Enjoy one dive and save the other for an unforgettable night dive, where you might encounter critters and even the Epaulette Shark. Afterward, warm up with a towel and share your underwater adventures over dinner.
Day 5
Pulau Boo is a long, slender island with a wealth of sights to discover. Off its eastern tip lies a site known as Magic Mountain or, in the local language, Karrang Bayangan, meaning “shadow reef.” This name reflects the oceanic manta rays that frequent the area, casting their shadows over the reef. Whether mantas are present or not, the site is teeming with marine life and offers an incredible dive. Nearby, Boo Window features a semi-submerged passage between the island’s two sides. Drift past massive fan corals, barrel sponges, and reef sharks, while searching for pygmy seahorses in the current. With many other sites to explore, Pulau Boo promises unforgettable memories.
Day 6
Continuing west along the island chain, you’ll reach Fiabacet, where sites like “Whale Rock,” “Tank Rock,” and “Nudi Rock” stand out. Named after their unique shapes, these sites are as fascinating underwater as they are above. The biodiversity here is incredible, with a wide variety of marine life frequenting the area. Drift along the current at Whale Rock, finishing in the shallows surrounded by schooling reef fish, or dive beneath Nudi Rock to explore its ridges, plateaus, and abundant fish. At Tank Rock, watch fish dance against the current and keep an eye out for grey reef sharks. End the day with a relaxing sunbed, a coconut, and a delicious meal before resting for the night.
Day 7
Today’s location offers incredible experiences both above and below the water. Dive into unique sites like “Barracuda Rock,” “Birthday Cake,” and “Neptune Fan Sea.” At Barracuda Rock, swim through a school of yellow snapper along the ridge, then explore the fan and whip corals on the wall before finishing in the shallows with grazing turtles and butterfly fish. Above water, visit the iconic “Love Lagoon,” where a short walk leads to breathtaking views of the heart-shaped lagoon. Alternatively, kayak or paddleboard through shallow coral reefs, surrounded by towering peaks. Relax on a private beach before returning to the boat when ready
Day 8
On your final full day aboard, enjoy a range of non-diving activities to allow for decompression time. In the morning, explore Goa Karamat, a flooded cave where you can swim under stalactites and, for the adventurous, climb through an opening to a hidden tropical swimming hole. On the return, pass by ancient cave paintings thought to be created by early Aboriginals. In the afternoon, take a challenging trek to a Jellyfish lake, home to thousands of stingless jellyfish when conditions are right. Finish the day on the beach with a cocktail, a BBQ dinner, and stunning views of Majik as the sun sets, sharing stories of your unforgettable journey.
Day 9
Wake up to your final breakfast onboard, and if time permits, enjoy a swim, kayak, or paddleboard around the nearby island of Matan before setting sail for Sorong Harbour. As you prepare to disembark, the crew will collect your luggage and, after heartfelt hugs and goodbyes, escort you to the waiting taxis for your journey to the airport.
