Itinerary
Day 1 – Bali to Moyo Island
Check-in aboard Mermaid I between 13:00 and 15:00 at Benoa Harbour, Bali. After the boat and safety briefing, you’ll set up your dive gear and settle into your cabin. Mermaid I cruises overnight to Moyo Island, northwest Sumbawa.

Day 2 – Moyo & Satonda
Start your diving adventure at Angel Reef, Moyo – expect schools of bannerfish, vibrant coral walls, and rich marine life. Later, dive Satonda Island and enjoy a world-class night dive after watching thousands of bats take off at sunset. Overnight cruise to Sangeang Volcano.

Day 3 – Sangeang & Gili Banta
Morning dives at Sangeang, known for black sand slopes, bubbling reefs, and macro life. In the afternoon, explore the reefs and pinnacles around Gili Banta before heading to northern Komodo for a late dive and night dive.

Day 4 – Gili Lawa Laut & Pink Beach
Dive iconic northern Komodo sites including Taka Toko, Lighthouse Reef, and Crystal Rock. Expect drift dives, pelagics, and vivid soft corals. End the day with a colorful night dive at Pink Beach or Soro Lia.

Day 5 – Komodo Dragons & Horseshoe Bay
In the morning, visit Komodo Island for a guided walk to see the dragons. In the afternoon, head to Rinca’s Horseshoe Bay and dive Cannibal Rock – famous for its rich biodiversity and vibrant marine life. Overnight in the bay.

Day 6 – Manta Alley & Batu Bolong
Watch mantas cruising over cleaning stations at Manta Alley, then dive the dramatic walls of Batu Bolong and Tatawa Kecil. These sites are loaded with action: reef sharks, turtles, and dense coral formations. Optional night dive at Wainilu.

Day 7 – Central & North Komodo, Gili Banta
Wrap up your time in Komodo with four more dives in the park’s best central and northern sites. That evening, enjoy a final night dive at Gili Banta. Mermaid I cruises overnight toward Sangeang.

Day 8 – Sangeang Volcano to Saleh Bay
Two final dives at Sangeang’s photogenic, volcanic reefs. Expect rare critters, black sand, and thermal bubbles. Then cruise to Saleh Bay in preparation for tomorrow’s whale shark encounter.

Day 9 – Whale Sharks of Saleh Bay
A rare treat – start the day around 06:30 with a session snorkeling or diving with whale sharks in Saleh Bay. Spend a few magical hours with these gentle giants before cruising back toward Bali.

Arrive at Benoa Harbour and disembark after breakfast at around 08:00.
