Itinerary
Day 1
Arrive and check in aboard the MV Mermaid II. As guests arrive throughout the day, you are welcome to board early to unpack and set up your equipment. After a safety briefing, we begin our 4–5-hour cruise to the Dampier Strait area.
Day 2-3
Spend the next two days diving in the Dampier Strait, known for its variety of marine life. It’s also a fantastic destination for critters and macro enthusiasts, with multiple species of pygmy seahorses and an impressive variety of nudibranchs.
Day 4-5
Dive around the island of Misool, home to some of the world’s most beautiful soft coral reefs, pinnacles, and masses of schooling fish. Enjoy tender excursions to inner lagoons. Cruise overnight to Pulau Koon.
Day 6
Explore Pulau Koon, known for its vibrant walls covered in soft corals and large schools of fish like barracudas and giant groupers. Cruise overnight to the Banda Islands.
Day 7-8
Discover the Banda Islands’ stunning wall dives, soft corals, and swim-throughs, along with opportunities for cultural exploration. Spend the morning touring Banda Neira village. Cruise overnight to Manuk.
Day 9
Dive with sea snakes at Manuk, an active volcano surrounded by black sand slopes and rich marine life, including fusiliers and pelagic fish. Cruise overnight to Serua Island.
Day 10
At Serua Island, enjoy the chance to see schooling hammerhead sharks and vibrant reefs. Cruise to Damar Islands.
Day 11
Dive into the beautiful walls and crystal-clear waters around the small islands of Neus Leur, Terbang Selatan, and Terbang Utara. Cruise to Wetar Island.
Day 12
Arrive in Wetar for dives at Reong Island and Cape Nunukae, known for their healthy coral reefs and strong currents. Cruise overnight to Alor.
Day 13-14
Dive the diverse and rich waters of Alor, home to healthy reefs, pinnacles, and exciting muck dives. Cruise overnight to Kawula or Serbete Island.
Day 15
Enjoy two final dives at Kawula or Serbete Island before cruising back to Maumere.
Day 16
Disembark at 8:00 AM after breakfast and transfer to the airport or hotel.
