Itinerary Bali – Sumbawa – West Flores Diving Liveaboard
DAY 1 – Welcome Aboard in Bali
The crew will be ready to welcome you aboard the MSY Seahorse before noon. After a safety briefing, introductions, cabin check-in, and dive paperwork, you’ll have time to settle in and get to know the boat before we set sail. Kick back, relax, and get familiar with your floating home for the next 10 nights.
DAY 2 – Gili Islands | 3–4 Dives
We start the diving adventure with some easy and beautiful dives around the Gili Islands. Expect clear water, vibrant reefs, turtles, and reef sharks – perfect warm-up dives to ease into the trip.
DAY 3 – Moyo & Satonda | 3–4 Dives
We’ll arrive in the late morning at Moyo, off the northwest coast of Sumbawa, for two dives in stunning waters. In the afternoon, we set course for Satonda. Once there, you can join a short trek and, at dusk, witness the incredible sight of bats taking flight. A night dive will be offered before we begin our overnight crossing to Sangeang.
DAY 4 – Pulau Sangeang | 3–4 Dives
We spend the day diving around Pulau Sangeang, a dramatic volcanic island with black sand slopes and surreal underwater landscapes. The contrast between soft corals and the dark volcanic seafloor makes for fantastic macro photography. Expect vibrant critter life, volcanic gas bubbles, and a truly unique dive setting. Night dive included.
DAY 5 – Northern Komodo | 3–4 Dives
Welcome to Komodo National Park. The north is known for its rich, thriving reefs and a stunning mix of hard and soft corals. Expect to see reef sharks, tunas, giant trevallies, and clouds of reef fish. Dive sites range from gentle drift dives to thrilling pelagic sites in stronger currents.
DAY 6 – Northern Komodo | 3–4 Dives
We continue exploring the best of northern Komodo, including iconic dive sites like Shotgun and Golden Passage. The day wraps up with a night dive and, if conditions allow, a short hike to a scenic viewpoint for sunset over the Komodo hills.
DAY 7 – Central Komodo | 3–4 Dives
Diving in the central part of the park depends on tide conditions. This region offers some of Komodo’s most well-known sites – Batu Bolong, with its dramatic drop-offs and teeming fish life, Tatawa Besar’s colorful drifts, and Siaba’s coral gardens, among others.
DAY 8 – Southern Komodo | 3–4 Dives
The south offers a different feel -cooler waters, rich colors, and more macro life. We’ll start the day with two dives at Manta Alley, where giant manta rays glide effortlessly around cleaning stations. Then we head into Horseshoe Bay (Nusa Kode) for more dives, including world-famous macro haven Cannibal Rock. Night dive included.
DAY 9 – Central Komodo & Rinca Visit | 3–4 Dives
We return to central Komodo with a morning visit to Rinca Island to meet the legendary Komodo dragons in their natural habitat. Later, enjoy another dive at Batu Bolong and a manta encounter at Karang Makassar. A night dive at Wanilu wraps up the day.
DAY 10 – Final Dive in North Komodo | 1 Dive
Time for one last dive – likely at Castle Rock or Crystal Rock – before we cruise back toward Labuan Bajo. Enjoy a relaxed final evening near the harbor with your fellow adventurers.
