Expect world-class drift dives, vibrant coral walls, manta rays, and rare macro life in Komodo. As the journey continues west, you’ll explore remote sites across Sumbawa – from colorful pinnacles to whale shark hotspots like Saleh Bay. Itinerary
Day 1 – Labuan Bajo (Check-in)
The Seahorse Diving Liveaboard crew will be ready to welcome you onboard. After safety briefings, crew introductions, dive paperwork, and cabin allocation, you’ll have time to settle in and get comfortable as the boat departs.
Note: This is a sample itinerary. The number of dives, sites, and sequence may change depending on weather or sea conditions.
Day 2 – North Komodo (3–4 dives)
Explore the spectacular reefs of North Komodo, known for their vibrant mix of hard and soft corals. Expect reef sharks, tunas, giant trevallies, and a variety of smaller reef fish. Dive conditions range from strong currents and walls to calm drifts and macro-rich slopes.
Day 3 – North Komodo (3–4 dives)
We continue in the northern region with top dive sites like Shotgun and Golden Passage. Three day dives and one night dive are planned. In the evening, enjoy a short hike for panoramic views of the Komodo landscape.
Day 4 – Central Komodo (3–4 dives)
Now in the central zone of Komodo National Park, dive sites include Batu Bolong, Batu Mandi, Tatawa Besar, Tatawa Kecil, and Siaba. These sites feature rich coral life, clear water, and large pelagic species. Dive timing is tide-dependent.
Day 5 – South Komodo (Manta Alley) (3–4 dives)
Begin the day with two dives in Manta Alley, followed by an afternoon and night dive in Horseshoe Bay (Nusa Kode). Waters here are cooler, with temperatures dropping to 22°C in July and August.
Day 6 – South Komodo (Nusa Kode) (3–4 dives)
Nusa Kode features colorful soft corals and exceptional macro life. Cannibal Rock is a highlight, considered one of the best macro sites in the world. The plan includes three day dives and one night dive.
Day 7 – Pulau Banta (3–4 dives)
Dive well-known sites like Highway to Hell and K2, where you may spot mantas at cleaning stations. Enjoy sunset views of Sangeang Volcano, followed by a night dive. Overnight sail to Pulau Sangeang.
Day 8 – Pulau Sangeang (3–4 dives)
Pulau Sangeang, with its active volcano and black sand seabed, offers dives full of contrast and life. Expect vibrant corals, macro sightings, volcanic gas releases, and a visit to the local boat-building village.
Day 9 – Pulau Moyo & Satonda (3–4 dives)
In the morning, arrive at Moyo Island in northwest Sumbawa for three dives. Later, trek on Satonda Island and, at dusk, watch the bats take flight. The night is spent sailing toward Bali.
Day 10 – Open Sea / Transit
This is a transit day without dives, allowing the crew and guests to rest and prepare for arrival.
Day 11 – Bali (Check-out)
Disembarkation in Bali before noon. The crew will assist with airport or hotel transfers as needed. Farewell group photo and goodbyes.
