Mikumba II was made between 2015 and 2017 in Bira region of South Sulawesi. It took more than 30 months for the craftsmen to make the boat. Today, this unconventional boat offers you the charm and authenticity of Indonesian boats. Mikumba II Features and Accommodations
Barefoot luxury is the idea behind Mikumba II liveaboard in Indonesia. It has undergone an extensive renovation giving a contemporary twist to this traditional wooden boutique style phinisi. Mikumba II boast is the largest outdoor space in her class. It has 4 decks, which allow guests to enjoy alfresco dining under the stars while sipping their favourite drink. In another case, perhaps you’ll get involved in some sunrise/sunset yoga or just chill out on bean bags with a book. However, the main hub of the boat is the beautiful indoor salon. It offers a simple space for relaxation, a dining area, a cinema room, a library, and board games.
There are 2 Master cabins located on the upper deck, both en-suite that have their private balcony. Additionally, there are 3 double/twin cabins on the lower deck with sharing 2 bathrooms. All in all, the cabins are spacious and individually designed, embracing traditional local materials and fabrics.
