Tandem paragliding in Bali is one of the most accessible and memorable ways to experience the dramatic Bali’s southern coastline. You don’t need any experience – just a basic sense of adventure. After a short safety briefing and gear check, you’ll take off from a scenic cliff and glide high above turquoise bays, white sand beaches, and rolling hills.
All flights are tandem, guided by certified paragliding pilots, and every booking includes GoPro video footage to take home. Depending on the time of year, you’ll fly from either the Uluwatu or Tanah Barak launch site – both offering incredible views and excellent wind conditions.
What to Expect
This experience runs for approximately one hour, with 10–15 minutes of actual flying time. Once you check in at the site, you’ll be geared up with a helmet, harness, and safety radio. After a short briefing with your pilot, you’ll be driven to the launch zone. From there, it’s just a few quick steps until you’re airborne.
The sensation is smooth and relaxed – like floating – though the adrenaline rush is real. Some people laugh, while others go quiet or film the whole thing on their phones. Either way, it’s one of those Bali experiences you’ll remember long after your feet touch the ground.
Moreover, instructors are always nearby to guide you every step of the way, making it easy for beginners to feel safe and confident.
