Gangga Island Resort & Spa sits on a small island off the coast of North Sulawesi, with tropical gardens running down to a white sand beach. It suits holidaymakers, honeymooners and divers.
The Rooms
Gangga Island Resort has 30 traditional Minahasa bungalows, 12 Deluxe and 18 Superior, set in gardens by the beach. Each has air conditioning, a ceiling fan, a mosquito net, a minibar, satellite TV, coffee and tea facilities, a private bathroom with hot and cold shower, and free Wi-Fi. Deluxe bungalows are larger and have sea-view verandas.
Dining
The Tuturuga Restaurant serves fresh seafood, Indonesian specialties, and international dishes in an elegant setting. Guests can enjoy themed barbecue nights under the coconut trees. The Coconut Bar offers refreshing tropical cocktails, wine, and soft drinks, making it the perfect spot to watch the sun set over the Sulawesi Sea.
The Spa
The Pasung Spa offers traditional massages, beauty treatments and natural therapies drawn from Indonesian practice.
Diving Center
Gangga Divers is a 5-star PADI dive center. Facilities include classrooms, a marine library, a large photo room and free Nitrox. Dives run from custom-built boats carrying safety gear, towels, fruit and snacks, to sites around Gangga, Bangka, Lihaga and Bunaken National Marine Park.
