Sentral

Sentral is the budget option for Komodo, sailing all year round on 2 and 3 day trips.

The Boat

The boat takes up to 12 people in 5 cabins. The 2 Master cabins on the upper deck have double beds, private bathrooms, air conditioning and balconies. The Deluxe cabin on the main deck has the same. The Superior and Shared cabins on the lower deck use a shared bathroom.

The crew include guides who know the park and a cook working with local ingredients.

Itinerary

Here’s the itinerary 3 days / 2 nights with Sentral Liveaboard:

Day 1

Pick up from your hotel or the airport to the meeting point, then set sail for Kelor Island for a swim or a snorkel. Next is Manjarite Island, where you can stay on the beach or walk up for a view over the surrounding islands. The boat then sails to Kalong Island, where thousands of flying foxes leave at dusk to feed.

Day 2

Breakfast on board, then the walk up to the Padar Island viewpoint. Swimming and snorkelling at Pink Beach, then a guided trek in Komodo National Park to see the dragons. The boat stops at the Taka Makassar sandbar, and you snorkel with manta rays at Manta Point.

Day 3

Breakfast on board, then a last morning at Kanawa Island, snorkelling on the reef or staying on the beach. The boat sails back to Labuan Bajo.
