Ocean Earth Travels

Tiaré

Tiaré is a 46-meter luxury phinisi built by master shipwrights in South Sulawesi and launched in 2016. Conceived by five Italian cousins, she’s designed from the ground up for diving — not just as an afterthought, but as the core of the experience.

The boat blends traditional Indonesian craftsmanship (teak salvaged from old Javanese houses, ironwood hull from Sulawesi) with modern luxury and five-star diving infrastructure. The result is a vessel that feels authentic without compromising on comfort.

Tiaré accommodates 12 guests in 6 spacious cabins and carries 17 crew — the ratio is intentional. It means personalized service, attentive guides, and the kind of space and pace that transforms a diving trip into something memorable.

Diving & Onboard Experience

Tiaré is built for divers who want to be underwater, not worrying about comfort compromises on the boat.

The dive deck is spacious and professionally organized. Equipment storage, hot water showers post-dive, and a dedicated camera room for photographers to offload and edit shots between dives. If you’re serious about underwater photography, you get space to work.

The boat carries custom fiberglass tenders (2x) and a full suite of water sports equipment: SUPs, sea kayaks, and dive shop gear for up to 12 people. The 17-person crew includes experienced divemasters and guides who know the regions intimately.

Between dives, you’ll find plenty of space. The main deck is a social hub — morning coffee, evening dinners under the stars. The upper deck bow lounge is perfect for sunbathing or stargazing. The saloon is climate-controlled with a library for reading or quiet time during the hottest hours. The bar is well-stocked with local beers, imported wines, and premium spirits.

All meals are included (non-alcoholic beverages too). The galley is serious about food — this is five-star service at sea.

Destinations & Seasonal Routes

Tiaré operates across three distinct regions, rotating seasonally:

April – September: Komodo National Park

Mantas, sharks, currents, and big animal encounters. Crystal-clear waters and the kind of reef action that gets your adrenaline up.

October: Spice Islands & Banda Sea

Macro life, pristine reefs, and the historic spice trade routes. Fewer crowds, excellent visibility.

November – March: Raja Ampat

The biodiversity powerhouse. Endless variety, rare encounters, healthy reefs. Peak season for this region.

Each season is scheduled months in advance, and Tiaré runs back-to-back cruises with consistent itineraries and pricing. The boat itself doesn’t change — the regions do.
