Metita Beach & Dive Resort

Metita Beach & Dive Resort sits on the island of Metita, off the southern tip of Morotai in North Maluku. White sand beaches, coral reefs, and a resort run on sustainable lines.

The cottages are wooden, with open-air bathrooms and hammocks. The kitchen buys from local fishermen and farmers, and the diving is run by Gangga Divers.

The Rooms

Double Beach Cottage (2 guests) – Wake up to the sound of waves in a cozy beachfront cottage designed for two. Each features a veranda with hammock and lounge chairs, perfect for soaking up ocean views.

Twin Beach Cottage (2 guests) – Ideal for friends or dive partners, these cottages sit just steps from the beach. Enjoy open-air bathrooms, airy interiors, and verandas for relaxing after a day of adventure.

Family Garden Cottage (4 guests) – Spacious and welcoming, the Family Cottage offers room for four with garden surroundings, open-air bathroom, and a private veranda for shared moments in nature.

The Dining

The restaurant & bar serves wholesome meals inspired by local flavors, with fish, meat, fruits, and vegetables sourced directly from nearby fishermen and farmers. Fresh, seasonal ingredients ensure every dish supports both community and sustainability. Enjoy relaxed dining with ocean views, refreshing drinks, and daily afternoon tea with local treats

Diving Center

Gangga Divers at Metita runs the diving. The dive center has a camera room, classroom, Nitrox membrane system, rental equipment and washing and drying facilities. Two custom-built dive boats (6–12 divers) carry toilets, shaded areas, DAN Oxygen kits, radios, towels, snacks, fruit, tea and coffee, and camera rinsing stations. The sites around Morotai take in reefs and WWII wrecks.
