Papua Paradise Eco Resort
Papua Paradise Eco Resort sits on Birie Island in Raja Ampat, with jungle behind it, birdlife in the trees and reef in the water in front.
The Rooms
The resort has 26 overwater bungalows with a spacious balcony overlooking the turquoise reefs and Pacific Ocean. Each room has a safety deposit, pedestal fan, mosquito net, ocean view desk, and daybeds on a balcony. Enjoy additional complimentary services like a welcome drink, face towel on arrival, coffee or tea, evening turn-down, and bottled drinking water from the accommodation.

The Restaurant
The Seaview Restaurant looks straight out over the house reef, where baitfish break the surface and juvenile reef sharks work the bay. It serves European and Indonesian food on a wide buffet. Fruits and vegetables come from Papua Paradise’s Garden. Other items are purchased in Sorong. Special products like yogurt, bread, cakes, and pasta are homemade.

The Spa
Spa in Paradise sits between the jungle and the water. The therapists work in traditional Ayurvedic and Southeast Asian techniques. Each private treatment room has a bathtub, a rain shower and an outdoor area for manicure, pedicure and hair cream baths, with an ocean view.

Diving Center
At Papua Paradise Eco Resort, the Gangga Divers Center operates to PADI standards, with dives run safely and tailored to the group. Groups run to a maximum of four divers per guide. Raja Ampat holds over 1,300 fish species and 540 types of coral. The centre has a fully equipped classroom, an air-conditioned camera room, rental gear by Aqualung and Apeks, and free nitrox for certified divers. The dive boats are purpose-built, with sundecks, refreshments and emergency equipment on board.
