The Roots Tree House is in Ungasan, near the Uluwatu surf spots, the beaches, shops and restaurants. It sits in southern Bali, away from the busier parts of the island.

The Accommodation

The Roots Tree House has seven types of accommodation, each with the basic comforts. The options:

• Lumbung Padi: a beautiful traditional Indonesian rice barn (known as Lumbung) inspired design. It can accommodate up to 3 guests.
• Cinnamon House: The accommodation offers a cozy, rustic charm with its wooden interiors, a private balcony with garden & pool views, and a private chill-out area with hanging chairs.
• Astragal House: built 3 meters above the ground surrounding a big ancient tree. It has a unique interior with a private bathroom, a balcony, and a chill out area with a big couch.
• Cotton House: it is the biggest tree house in Roots Tree House. It is made of local and recycled wood and built 3 meters above the ground. The house features white aesthetic, and airy escape ambiance with its treehouse living concept. It can accommodate up to 3 guests.
• Ginger House: it’s a standout as a distinctive tree house. Built 2.5 meters above the ground around a Banyan Tree. The most unique feature about this house is the sliding rooftop that can be opened to enjoy the sky view or stargazing at night.
• Banyan House: this is the highest tree house in Roots Tree House. Built 4.5 meters above the ground surrounding a Banyan Tree.
• Tree Suite: a tree house built around a Java Silk Tree, with a sitting area and a private terrace with a couch, facing the garden.

All come with private bathrooms, hot showers, eco-friendly toiletries and fans. Each house has its own private chill-out area.
