Ocean Earth Travels
Sienna Resort

Sienna Resort

Sienna Resort sits on a private island off Maratua, which buys it a level of quiet that the main island cannot.

There are 8 sea-view villas and 5 cottages, each with a large bathroom and private beach access, plus a dock that faces the sunset.

The resort covers 3,200 square metres of island, with diving, snorkelling, canoeing and trekking on the doorstep.

The Rooms

Sangalaki Villa

The 132 m² Sangalaki Villa has raised ocean views from both the master bedroom and the separate living area. It takes up to 6 guests across 4 single beds and 1 queen bed, which suits groups and families.

Kakaban Villa

Kakaban Villa is built on a deck above the sea, facing Maratua’s sunset beach. At 112 m² it takes up to 4 guests across 2 single beds and 1 queen bed.

Sidau Cottage

Sidau Cottage runs to 24 m² with a beach view. It takes 2 guests in 2 single beds, and has generous outdoor space.

Activities at Sienna Resort

The resort has its own dive centre running courses and trips for beginners and experienced divers, with a speedboat out to the sites.

There are also guided fishing trips, trekking and canoeing along the coast. Jellyfish Lake is close by, where you can swim among stingless jellyfish, and whale sharks and manta rays pass through.

Fishing trips are also available. Experience fishing in one of the best spot in Indonesia with dogtooth tuna, giant trevallies, snappers, groupers and many more…

Everything on offer is built around what Maratua has rather than what a resort can install.
