About dive liveaboards in Indonesia
Many of Indonesia's best reefs are hours from the nearest town, which is why so much of its diving is done from a boat. The seasons move around the country. Raja Ampat is at its best from October to April. Komodo can be dived all year and is calmest from April to October. The Banda Sea opens in two short windows, September to November and March to April, and Alor runs from May to October. The level filter shows the trips you qualify for: many welcome Open Water divers, while the expedition routes ask for Advanced and 30 to 50 logged dives. Prices are per person in a shared cabin, before park fees.
