Sumba Beach House

Sumba Beach House is a private beachfront villa on Pantai Kerewe, in Southwest Sumba. 90 minutes from Tambolaka Airport. It has an open ocean view, golden sand and two surf breaks in front, and takes couples, families or groups of friends.

With four ocean-facing suites, an open-air pavilion and bar, and a team of warm local hosts, the Beach House blends barefoot comfort with authentic Sumbanese hospitality. Accomodation

Each of the four ocean-facing suites captures the relaxed rhythm of island living. Step inside and find a spacious, sun-washed room with a king-sized bed, crisp white linens, and authentic local art adorning the walls. Floor-to-ceiling glass doors open onto your private deck, complete with beanbags and endless sea views.

The ensuite bathroom flows into a tropical open-air setting, featuring a rain shower, ceramic basins, and fresh natural accents. Every suite is air-conditioned, with ceiling fans, adjustable lighting, wardrobes and daily housekeeping.

Dining & Bar

The Pavilion sits at the centre of the property, an open timber-decked space connecting the suites to the sand. It is where breakfast happens, where lunch runs long between surf sessions, and where dinner is served at sunset.

The central bar brings the Pavilion to life, serving refreshing cocktails, cold beers, and fresh coconuts throughout the day. Ivana, the house manager and a trained chef, runs the kitchen. Daily specials come from whatever the island has that day: grilled fish caught offshore, homemade sambal, the food Sumba actually eats.
