Villa Bacchanalia
Villa Bacchanalia is a modern two-bedroom villa tucked in the Bunutan valley above Amed, the eastern coast of Bali. The property sits between two of the area’s most-loved snorkeling spots, Jemeluk and Lipah, both about a five-minute drive away.
The villa is built around a private swimming pool and tropical garden, with a rooftop lounge and open-air kitchen offering 360-degree views over the ocean and the surrounding hills. It is well suited to couples or a small family looking for quiet, space, and easy access to Amed’s dive sites.
The villa
Two bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom and walk-in closet. The open-plan living and dining area opens directly onto the garden and pool deck. Upstairs, the rooftop has a covered lounge and a second outdoor kitchen, ideal for sunset dinners.
Location and access
The villa is set in a quiet hillside neighbourhood inside a traditional Balinese village. The beach is a twenty-minute walk or a three-minute scooter ride; renting a scooter or car on arrival is strongly recommended, both to reach the beach and to explore further afield. Local ceremonies may occasionally bring sound from the village; this is part of the cultural character of the area.
