New White Manta departs Ternate on May 26 and ends in Manado 11 days later, covering Halmahera’s walls and soft coral sites, two full days at Morotai’s 40+ dive sites (including WWII wreck opportunities), Pulau Tifore’s schooling fish, and finishing with Lembeh Strait‘s world-class muck diving. 28 dives across 10 days.

The trip ends at Bitung Port in Manado — easy onward connections to Bali, Jakarta, or Singapore.

Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1 — Ternate / Pulau Hiri (0–2 dives)
Staff pick up guests at Sultan Babullah Airport, Ternate (20–30 min transfer) or local hotel (10am pickup). Departure at 1pm. Check dives at Pulau Hiri — a rocky island just north of Ternate with diverse marine life and colourful coral reefs, accessible for all levels. Overnight sail north.

Day 2 — Loloda Bay & Kahatola (3–4 dives)
Reef slopes, steep walls, tunnels, and overhangs in soft coral. Regular encounters with black-tip sharks, tuna, barracuda, and jacks.

Day 3 — Transit / Dive en route to Morotai
Diving en route as conditions allow.

Day 4 — Pulau Bau & Morotai (3–4 dives)
Imposing walls, canyons, drift dives. Manta rays, sharks, and possible dugong sightings. Macro opportunities and a WWII wreck dive possible.

Day 5 — Pulau Morotai & Metita (4 dives)
First of two full days at Morotai. Over 40 mapped sites — varied reefs, walls, and macro for all levels.

Day 6 — Pulau Morotai & Metita (4 dives)
Second full day at Morotai and Metita. Different sites, same diverse productivity.

Day 7 — Pulau Doi & Dagasuli (3–4 dives)
Exploration dives south of Morotai Island in less-visited territory.

Day 8 — Northern Halmahera Coast (3 dives)
Tracing south along the northern Halmahera coastline. Remote, rarely-dived sites.

Day 9 — Pulau Tifore (3 dives)
Pulau Tifore sits in the Moluccan Sea, equidistant between Halmahera and Lembeh. Dense schooling fish — jacks, snappers, massive barracuda formations. Overnight sail to Lembeh.

Day 10 — Lembeh Strait (2 dives)
The trip ends where the critters live. Dive sites: Angels Windows and Nudi Retreat in Lembeh’s world-famous muck diving zone. Last dive ends at 12pm. Sail to Bitung Port for the final night on board.

Day 11 — Departure, Manado (0 dives)
Check-out 5am–10am. Light breakfast. Transfer to local Bitung area hotel or Sam Ratulangi Airport, Manado (~1 hour). Earliest recommended departure flight: 9am.

Getting There & Back

To Ternate (embarkation): From Manado: daily 1-hour flights with Wings Air. From Jakarta: daily ~3.5 hours with Garuda, Batik Air, Lion Air. From Singapore: fly to Manado via Scoot and connect.

From Manado (disembarkation): To Bali: direct with Lion Air, Citilink, or Garuda Indonesia. To Jakarta: direct with Batik Air or Citilink. To Singapore: direct with Scoot.

Note: Free return transfer to local Bitung area hotel or Sam Ratulangi Airport, Manado. Hotels in Manado city are not included — guests must arrange their own transport from Bitung Port if not staying locally. Earliest recommended flight: 9am on Day 11.
