Day 1 | Sorong to Waisai
Begin your adventure by embarking from Sorong Harbour and boarding the vessel. The cruise leader will brief on boat safety, an overview of the trip, equipment set up and then settle into your accommodations. Upon arrival in Waisai, you'll have the opportunity to do a check dive. Before the dive,crew will outline the upcoming dive sites and safety protocols. This dive is designed to refresh your skills and ensure your comfort in the water. You'll explore a nearby dive site, assessing your gear and diving proficiency.
Day 2 | Pyanemo
After breakfast, gather for a briefing that outlines today's dive sites: Melissa Garden, My Reef, Batu Rufas and Galaxy. Melissa Garden is a renowned dive site characterized by an incredible carpet of healthy corals. Be prepared as the other dive sites are as stunning, such as My Reef where there is a high chance to encounter schools of barracuda as they glide through the water and Batu Rufas where you'll find a striking underwater frame perfect for striking a pose. In the afternoon, switch gears for some exploration on land and embark on a short trek to Pyanemo Point, famous for its stunning overlook of the turquoise lagoon below. Night dive will depend on weather conditions. Possible dive sites: Melissa, Garden, Rufus, My Reef, Galaxy.
Day 3 | Gam Island
Dicing around Gam Island is an exhilarating experience where underwater enthusiast can expect colorful reef fish, healthy corals and sightings of the majestic Wobbegong Shark. At Mayhem, the dive experience is thrilling due to the drift dive, however rewarding because sometimes one can encounter schooling barracudas. A note for newcomers should be aware that these sites can present challenges such as strong currents, varying visibility and depth factors. Let our divemaster how you feel and suggest a comfortable plan for the dive. Possible dive sites: Citrus Ridge, Mayhem, Gam corner.
Day 4 | Dampier Strait
Highlight dive site Manta Sandy features a shallow channel nestled between sandbanks, where manta rays are frequently seen being cleaned or occasionally feeding. Diving at Manta Sandy requires dive operators to book ahead the dive slot with strict rules that we must follow, such as entering and exiting the water on time based on the booking schedule. The dive site is a simple sandy bottom, where divers kneel down to watch the mantas in the cleaning station. It is highly recommended to bring a pointer as it may be helpful where there is strong current when kneeling. Possible dive sites: MantaSandy, Yenbuba jetty.
Day 5 | Mansuar Island
Afterward, we move to the village of Sawandarek, where we typically encounter a sizeable green turtle. Not to mention the shallow reef and the jetty with all the fishes. Then we head to Cape Kri, a divesite renowned for one of the most biodiverse locations in the world, with stunning coral reef slope and school of fishes. As night falls, we will dive in Saporkren, a sand slope without any reef or no coral. However, you know what to expect in this kind of dive right? Possible dive sites: Sawandarek, Cape Kri, Chicken reef.
Day 6 | Dampier strait
Blue Magic, as the name suggests, is like diving into the magic world underwater. School of fishes, sharks, and corals, not to mention the critters you might find lurking on the reef. Get ready for the big prize, oceanic manta ray, might come occasionally cleaning themself above the reef. For the second dive, Mioskon, is also a mesmerizing dive site with so many fishes swimming around the shallow reef. Possible dive sites: Blue Magic, Cape Mansuar, Sapokren.
Day 7 | Central
We'll have an early start as today's dive is another highlight. Depending on flight schedule, guests are able to opt for 1 dive due to no 24 hours no fly requirement or can participate for 2 dives. Blue Magic, as the name suggests, is like diving into the magic world underwater. School of fishes, sharks, and corals, not to men on the critters you might find lurking on the reef. Get ready for the big prize, oceanic manta ray, might come occasionally cleaning themself above the reef. For the second dive, Mioskon, is also a mesmerizing dive site with so many fishes swimming around the shallow reef. After the last dive, crew will help wash and dry scuba equipment while sailing to Mayalibit bay. Arriving at Kali Biru (Blue River), a small river in the middle of Lush green landscape of Waisai, which is the perfect combination of crystal clear water and the forest scenery. Jump in the blue river and immerse yourself in the soothing water. Sailing to Sorong in the evening.
Day 8 | Sorong
Disembark in Sorong Harbour. A er breakfast we will assist guests to the airport depending on flight schedule or we will transfer to hotel. For those staying in hotel, are able to relax on the boat until 10.00am.
