Balinese Blessing Ceremony with a High Priest in Ubud
This blessing takes place in the private home of a Balinese high priest, one of the highest spiritual authorities in Balinese Hinduism. It is far more personal than a standard temple blessing: the priest spends hours before your arrival preparing the offerings for your ceremony, including a flower mandala with your initials.
Tell us the occasion when you book: a honeymoon, a vow renewal, a wedding, a family blessing or a new start. The offerings and prayers are prepared around it.
How the experience runs
- You change into Balinese attire, which is provided.
- You make a small offering of your own before entering the family temple.
- The high priest leads a purification and blessing with holy water, flowers, offerings and mantras, dedicated to your intention.
- You leave with the blessing, and with photos if you add the photographer.
