Bugis

The Bugis Liveaboard was built in 2022 and runs its onboard electricity from solar power, which keeps generator use down. She sails Komodo, Raja Ampat and Sulawesi.

The Boat

Bugis has 4 cabins taking up to 8 guests. Each has a berth on top, a private bathroom, good ventilation and a sea view, which works for small groups of friends or families. She is a 27-metre Indonesian wooden yacht.

The cabins are not air-conditioned to save energy and reduce its carbon footprint. They are all located on the main deck, exposed to the sea breeze. The median temperature at sea is on average 3 degrees Celsius below the temperature on land.

The cuisine served onboard is a fusion of Indonesian and Western dishes. The chef ensures that each meal is locally sourced and fresh.

Bugis Liveaboard has 3 spacious social areas, one on the main deck, and 2 on the upper deck have an open « wall-less » concept that offers a full panoramic view.
