Sangalaki Resort

Sangalaki Resort sits on Sangalaki Island, Berau Regency, East Borneo, and it is the only accommodation on the island. The reef around it holds coral gardens and the manta rays the island is known for.

The resort has 10 cottages with single and twin rooms, set among the trees. It is a small operation on a small island, so it stays quiet.

The resort runs a speedboat out to the best dive sites in the region, including Channel Entrance, Coral Gardens, Turtle Town, Sandy Ridge, Manta Run, Sherwood Forest, Manta Parade, Manta Avenue, Eel Ridge, Lighthouse and The Rockies.

It is about as far from a resort strip as East Kalimantan gets.
