A Perfect Blend of Adventure and Comfort

Discover the Jakaré, a cruise boat that combines Indonesian tradition and Western comfort. It offers high-end services, with all cabins equipped with air conditioning and private bathrooms, and have many spacious common areas. As a result, this makes it a very friendly boat, perfectly suited for small groups or families with children.

Hosting up to 14 guests, Jakaré Phinisi has 5 different cabins:

• 2 Standard front cabins (Banggai 1 & 2): each cabin has a large single bed (120 cm) and a single bed (85 cm)
• 2 Premium Central cabins (Lotus 1 & 2): each cabin has a double bed (140 cm) and a single bed (80 cm)
• 1 Premium Aft Cabin (Dewi Sri): double bed (150 cm) with a uniquely beautiful wooden deck that gives you direct access to the turquoise waters

Meals are served in the main common space, which has views on all sides. Menus are set per cruise around what the group wants, using local produce bought the day before. The chef cooks both local and international dishes, including nasi goreng, mie goreng, sate ayam, soto ayam and gado gado.

Diving and other Activities on Board

The Jakaré Liveaboard operates as a full-fledged dive center, with equipment and staff that are adapted and independent. Their entire team, headed by their Dive Instructor, will be at your service. So, you can enjoy, in complete safety, the most beautiful diving spots of Indonesia.

The concept is to leave a maximum of freedom to the guests. Thus, the dives can be organized and tailored to your level and your desires. The Dive cruises usually include 3 dives per day (plus sometimes night dives) organized according to the desires of the Guests and the possibilities.

Divers and non-divers can both join the snorkelling, kayaking, stand-up paddling, trekking, beach and village visits, and wildlife watching. All activities are guided, including the snorkelling. Yoga and breathing sessions are available on request with qualified teachers.

The Jakaré Liveaboard operates in a sustainable relationship with men and the environment on which they all depend. The crew works for a better knowledge of the environment in which they evolve to better preserve it and minimize their direct impact.

They adhere to the values of LONGITUDE 181 and are classified as a Responsible Operator. Sulawesi craftsmen built the Jakare with some économie-responsible solutions.

They have implemented several eco-friendly solutions, such as excellent quality wood selection for hull and superstructure durability, and the boat’s design allows for natural ventilation in the common areas. This limits the use of air conditioning and generators, reducing CO2 emissions.
