Papiton Allo

Papiton Allo is a 37 metre phinisi launched in 2026, the largest boat in the Papiton fleet, sailing Komodo National Park with eight private staterooms.

She was built by hand in Ara village, Bulukumba, where the phinisi was first shaped and where the same yards still work timber the way they have for generations. Allo means sun in Bugis, the language most of those boatbuilders speak.

All eight cabins are private, and five of them open onto their own balcony: the Allo Signature and the two Arra Suites on the upper deck, and the two Loppi Suites at the stern of the main deck. The Birru Deluxe shares the main deck, and the two Nucca Deluxe sit on the lower deck with higher ceilings than most lower deck cabins. Every one has air conditioning, an en-suite bathroom with hot water and a wardrobe.

The top deck runs to sun loungers and sofas and is where dinner moves when the evening is worth it. Below that, a lounge outside the wheelhouse, the front deck with the bowsprit, and an indoor saloon with panoramic windows for meals. Starlink keeps the wifi working between islands, and there is a projector, a karaoke set and board games.

Open trips run three days and two nights from Labuan Bajo, with two-day trips also on the schedule. Snorkelling gear, a stand-up paddleboard, hotel transfers, a guide and an onboard photographer are included. Komodo park fees are not: the operator charges those separately.

Chartered privately she takes up to 18 guests and can run as a dive boat, with tank storage on the foredeck. She also sails beyond Komodo on charter, to Sumbawa, Sumba, Lombok and Alor. The shared departures listed here are cruising and snorkelling trips inside the park.
