Ocean Earth Travels

Silolona

Silolona is a handcrafted phinisi sailing yacht designed for small-group expeditions across Indonesia’s most remote waters. Hosting only twelve guests, the vessel offers an intimate way to explore the archipelago while combining traditional Indonesian craftsmanship with modern comfort.

Built by the renowned Konjo boat builders using ironwood and rare tropical hardwoods, Silolona reflects the heritage of Indonesia’s maritime culture. The yacht was designed for travelers who appreciate meaningful exploration, whether that means diving vibrant coral reefs, sailing through historic spice trade routes, or visiting remote island communities rarely seen by travelers.

With a professional expedition leader and a crew of seventeen, every voyage aboard Silolona focuses on discovery, comfort, and a deeper connection to the landscapes and cultures of Indonesia.

The Cabins

Silolona features five spacious suites, each inspired by the culture and artistic heritage of Indonesian islands. All cabins are designed for comfort and privacy while maintaining the yacht’s traditional aesthetic.

Bali Suite

A master suite featuring a king-size bed and generous living space. The suite reflects the artistic traditions and cultural influences of Bali.

Java Suite

Asmat Suite

A master suite inspired by the artistic traditions of Papua’s Asmat region, featuring distinctive decorative elements and a king-size bed.

Sumba Suite

Each suite accommodates two guests, with additional bedding available for children if required.

Life on Board

Life on board Silolona combines exploration, comfort, and time to slow down at sea. Days are often spent diving or snorkeling vibrant reefs, kayaking along quiet coastlines, or paddleboarding in sheltered bays across Indonesia’s remote islands. Between activities, guests return to the yacht for freshly prepared meals that blend international and Asian flavors, often enjoyed with wide ocean views from the deck. When it is time to unwind, the calm atmosphere onboard makes it easy to relax, whether reading in a shaded lounge or enjoying a traditional massage while the boat drifts through some of the most spectacular waters in the Indonesian archipelago.
