Ocean Earth Travels

Silolona

Silolona is a handcrafted phinisi sailing yacht designed for small-group expeditions across Indonesia’s most remote waters. Hosting only twelve guests, the vessel offers an intimate way to explore the archipelago while combining traditional Indonesian craftsmanship with modern comfort.

Silolona was built by Konjo boat builders using ironwood and rare tropical hardwoods. The routes cover reef diving, the old spice trade routes and island communities that see few visitors.

With a professional expedition leader and a crew of seventeen, every voyage aboard Silolona focuses on discovery, comfort, and a deeper connection to the landscapes and cultures of Indonesia.

The Cabins

Silolona features five spacious suites, each inspired by the culture and artistic heritage of Indonesian islands. All cabins are designed for comfort and privacy while maintaining the yacht’s traditional aesthetic.

Bali Suite

A master suite featuring a king-size bed and generous living space. The suite reflects the artistic traditions and cultural influences of Bali.

Java Suite

One of the largest suites on board, with a king-size bed and a layout drawing on Javanese design.

Asmat Suite

A master suite inspired by the artistic traditions of Papua’s Asmat region, featuring distinctive decorative elements and a king-size bed.

Sumba Suite

A guest suite with a queen-size bed and ensuite bathroom, influenced by the textures and colors of Sumba’s traditional textiles.

Borneo Suite

A comfortable guest suite with a queen-size bed and warm wooden interiors reflecting the natural landscapes of Borneo.

Each suite accommodates two guests, with additional bedding available for children if required.
