Orangutan Tour in Tanjung Puting

Orangutan Tour in Tanjung Puting

Borneo is one of the best places in the world to experience an Orangutan Tour. In the heart of this island lies Tanjung Puting National Park, a protected rainforest in Kumai, Pangkalan Bun. It’s home to one of the largest populations of wild orangutans in Indonesia. These fascinating primates share 97% of human DNA, making them our closest living relatives.

This journey takes you along jungle-lined rivers aboard a traditional wooden boat known as a klotok. You’ll spot orangutans in their natural habitat, visit rehabilitation camps, and discover the rich biodiversity of the Borneo rainforest.

All tours are private and include meals, national park fees, boat crew, transfers, and a guide.
