Mocean Dive Resort sits on a 2-kilometre stretch of beach at Pantai Moro, West Sumbawa. It is a small dive resort on a coast that sees very few visitors.

The Accommodation

This exclusive resort, located near the charming villages of Tua Nanga and Taliwang, beckons travelers with its 6 thoughtfully designed bungalows, beachfront restaurant, inviting pool, and laid-back lounge.

The custom-built teak furniture is from Jepara. It adds a touch of local artistry to the interiors. You can choose between one king-sized or two twin-sized beds featuring the luxurious King Koil mattresses for a restful sleep.

The private bathrooms have spacious rain showers and eco-friendly, locally sourced-hygiene products. Need to cool off? No sweat! Your bungalow comes with an indoor ceiling fan and air conditioning. The outdoor lanai provides a perfect spot to unwind, complete with a ceiling fan and plush chairs. A well-equipped workspace, a safety box, and universal electrical outlets cater to the practical needs of modern travelers.

How to Get Here

The resort is 30 minutes by car from Poto Tano, the ferry port connecting to Lombok. Coming by air, it is a 2 hour 15 minute drive from Sumbawa Besar’s Sultan Muhammad Kaharuddin III airport (SWQ).

Diving in Sumbawa

Large parts of the Sumbawa coast have barely been dived, which is the reason to come here rather than somewhere better known.

The guides know the coast and will take you to sites that are not on any map. Groups run to a maximum of four certified divers per guide.

Get ready to be amazed by the incredible marine life in our dive spots, where the visibility is around 15 meters. You might spot elegant manta rays at our cleaning station, come face to face with impressive black and white tip reef sharks, or witness juvenile eagle rays feasting on our house reef. The variety of marine life here will leave you speechless!
