Moko Alor Dive Resort
Moko Alor Dive Resort sits in the remote Alor Archipelago, with the best facilities on the island and a rare white-pink beach that faces the sunset.
Moko Alor Dive Resort provides comfortable beachfront bungalows and eco-friendly cottages blending harmoniously with the island’s natural environment. Beyond diving, guests can relax at the seaside restaurant, savoring locally sourced cuisine while enjoying panoramic views of the Alor Strait.
Moko Alor Dive Resort also actively supports local seaweed farming, which takes place right at the shore. The floating seaweed cages provide work for local women, capture carbon and keep the shoreline in use without damaging it.

The villas feature air-conditioned rooms, semi-open-air bathrooms with hot water showers, and cozy living rooms equipped with a fridge, sofa, safe deposit box, 5G WiFi and home entertainment system. Scuba Diving with Moko Alor
At Moko Alor Dive Resort, responsible diving practices are a priority, focusing on marine conservation and sustainable tourism. Starting with the mesmerizing house reef just steps away from the shore. It holds blacktip reef sharks, trevally, sea turtles, scorpionfish and nudibranchs, in water down to 30 metres. Dolphins pass through.

For more adventurous divers, Tina’s Wall awaits with its dramatic slopes and thrilling currents. Similar to the house reef, this site offers a variety of marine highlights including coral gardens, blacktip reef sharks, and elusive creatures like ghost pipefish and mantis shrimp. The instructors are experienced in these waters and the gear on site is well maintained.
Best Time to Visit
The best time to visit Moko Alor Dive Resort is during the dry season, which typically runs from April to November. This period offers calm seas, clear skies, and excellent visibility for diving and snorkeling activities. The weather is generally more predictable, with less chance of rain compared to the wet season. However, diving at Moko Alor is possible year-round, with opportunities to encounter various marine species depending on the season.
