About Damai I Liveaboard

Damai I was built in 2009 by Pak Hadji Baso in Tanjung Bira, South Sulawesi, using traditional methods and drawing on years of Indonesian liveaboard diving experience.

Damai I has seven staterooms: singles, twins, doubles and master cabins. Each has a queen- or king-sized bed and an en-suite toilet and shower.

Lower Deck

The Cabins 1 to 4 have a desk, a wardrobe, three reading lights and a bed side table. Of course, the rooms are fully air-conditioned and have en-suite facilities, where the shower has a dividing glass door.

It has a direct access to a private balcony, inside the cabins, the en-suite shower and toilet facilities are devided into two compartments. Of course the room is fully air-conditioned.

Upper Deck

Cabin 7, King or Twin Bed Cabin – USD 640/night

In the cabin, there is a desk, in-room sink unit and en-suite combined toilet and shower facilities. Moreover, the room is fully air conditioned and is located on the upper deck with direct access to the sun decks.

Diving Experience with Damai 1

The dive stations have individual rinse tanks, and the camera room has separate workstations with 110v and 220v charging. Damai I carries three local dive guides and one instructor, and with a maximum of 12 guests that gives a 4:1 guest to guide ratio. Two custom high-speed tenders run divers to the sites.

Day 1 | Raja Ampat

Breathtakingly beautiful is the best way to describe diving in Raja Ampat. Reefs are continuously teeming with activity as marine life thrive from the base of the sea floor all the way to the surface. Dive sites remain so pristine and packed with growth that a photographer is hard-pressed to find a spot to place a steadying finger.

Photo opportunities border on overwhelming with exotic sea life and macro critters abound. Raja Ampat liveaboard trips are designed to explore the entire region. Each area of the National Park is sure to awe, from the colorful soft coral, reef sharks and mobula rays around the southern area of Misool, to the world-famous, current-rich sites of Cape Kri and Blue Magic in central Dampier Straits.

Pristine coral gardens and a viewpoint climb over the lagoon in Penemu, to the west. Meanwhile, the north is also an excellent place to dive with mantas in Kawe and hunt critters in Aljui Bay.

Damai I and Damai II run luxury liveaboard charters out of Sorong for comfortable exploration of this majestic region. For a complete Papuan diving experience this itinerary can be combined with destinations such as Trition Bay and Cenderawasih Bay.

Payment Conditions
All payment(s) on board will be done in Indonesia Rupiah (IDR).
Payment schedule for your trip are stipulated within your invoice and are usually as below:
Individual Booking:
25% deposit and remaining balance 90 days before the trip.
Full Boat Charter:
10% deposit (non-refundable), additional 40% to be paid 180 days before the trip and remaining balance 90 days before the trip.
Short Notice Booking:
If booking is made 90 days before departure, full payment would be required.
Failure to fulfil payment schedule stipulated within your invoice give Dive Damai the right to cancel the trip without refund of all existing payment.
We accept all major Credit Card Payments. Terms and conditions as below:
Trip Payment (before your trip):
we accept online credit card payment through VERITRANS. Upon request, we will send you an online invoice that clearly show the Dive Damai logo. Upon clicking on the link included in that invoice, you will be redirected to VERITRANS secure server to complete the transaction. Rates are quoted and paid in USD, however, the payment will be converted into Indonesia Rupiah at that day's mid market rate of your bank (the rate they use to buy back into your credit card's currency). For Individual Booking customers, we do not charge any credit card fees for this.
On Board Charges (during the trip):
credit card on board is usually available. We will advice that you inform your bank of you using your card overseas to avoid any complications. A 3.5% credit card fee will be charged for this transaction.
Dive Damai reserves the right to amend prices printed on promotional materials such as brochure, email blast, Facebook post, etc. All booking request will be presented with an invoice and the invoice will be the confirmation of your booking that will not be altered.
The rate presented by Dive Damai in USD is subject to the minimum exchange rate of USD 1 : IDR13,000. Should the exchange rate fall below this parameter, Dive Damai has the right to request for compensation to make up for the exchange rate difference.
If the spot price of a barrel of Brent crude oil, as determined by the Operator by reference to the Bloomberg news website commodities page ( http://www.bloomberg.com/energy/), one hundred and twenty days (120) prior to the departure date of the relevant trip exceeds the following levels then the following supplemental charges per passenger (for 7 nights trip), will be added to the final payment of each invoice:
Between US$100.00 and US$109.99 per barrel: a charge of US$250 will be applied.
Between US$110 and US$119.99 per barrel: a charge of US$300 will be applied.
Above US$120 and until US$189.99 per barrel: a charge of US$500 will be applied.
Damai reserves the right to cancel the trip, should the price falls above USD189.99 per barrel.
The total of all payments submitted to Dive Damai bank account must be net in the full amount as stated on the invoice. No Bank transfer commission will be assumed by Dive Damai.
Alterations
All alterations must be made official via email (or postal mail if you prefer). For request made by post (if any), the letter must be delivered to the address in our contact page

Dive Damai reserves the right to alter the itinerary or given services due to unforeseen or unavoidable circumstances.
Dive Damai will inform the agent and/or client at the earliest possible time of such alterations and will make appropriate arrangements where possible to provide clients with a viable alternative.
In the unlikely event that a trip should be cancelled by Dive Damai, an alternative date will be offered to the agent or client and where such a date is unacceptable to the agent or client then a refund of the money paid for the trip by the agent or client will be considered.
CANCELLATIONS BY DIVE DAMAI (

" meaning event include but not limited to weather conditions, unforeseen natural phenomena, Force Majeure (natural disasters, epidemics and unforeseen acts of God etc) and unavoidable acts of man (war, riots etc).
Dive Damai reserves the right to cancel a trip due to unavoidable circumstances and will contact the agent and/or client at the earliest possible convenience.
Dive Damai reserves the right to cancel the trip and will not be required to offer an alternative or to refund any monies paid. Agents / guest will be directed to file for claims with their insurance of which Dive Damai will provide all required documentation for this.
Important Note:
Indonesia is situated in the middle of the Ring of Fire and as such is regularly affected by volcanic activity which can impact travel arrangements, domestic and international. In the event of trip cancellation due to unavoidable circumstances, Dive Damai terms and conditions below will prevail. Therefore all customers are
HIGHLY recommended
to purchase Travel Insurance and Trip Cancellation insurance upon booking of your trip.

Children Policy:
0 – 7 years old children are free of charge.
8 – 12 years old children who do not dive are entitle to a 50% discount.

Children above 12 year old are considered as adults.

Between US$100.00 and US$109.99 per barrel: a charge of US$250 will be applied.
Between US$110 and US$119.99 per barrel: a charge of US$300 will be applied.
Above US$120 and until US$189.99 per barrel: a charge of US$500 will be applied.

All payment(s) on board will be done in Indonesia Rupiah (IDR).
Payment schedule for your trip are stipulated within your invoice and are usually as below:
Individual Booking:
25% deposit and remaining balance 90 days before the trip.
Full Boat Charter:
10% deposit (non-refundable), additional 40% to be paid 180 days before the trip and remaining balance 90 days before the trip.
Short Notice Booking:
If booking is made 90 days before departure, full payment would be required.
Failure to fulfil payment schedule stipulated within your invoice give Dive Damai the right to cancel the trip without refund of all existing payment.

A variety of underwater experiences can be found whilst diving in Halmahera, including, a spattering of wrecks, an array of Indonesia’s spectacular hard coral gardens, and some world-class muck sites.

Halmahera liveaboard trips are designed to bring divers to all corners of this remote and diverse archipelago. North of the Banda Sea and west of the world-famous Raja Ampat lies this underpopulated island and its neighbouring archipelago of volcanoes, sandy beaches, and mangroves. Divers can visit the drop offs in south Bacan to see barracuda, explore the islands of Goraici for schooling reef fish and giant bait balls, and finally, hunt under the docks at Makian and Leilei for little critters. This region is unlike any other, and we believe, the best is yet to be discovered.

Payment Conditions
All payment(s) on board will be done in Indonesia Rupiah (IDR).
Payment schedule for your trip are stipulated within your invoice and are usually as below:
Individual Booking:
25% deposit and remaining balance 90 days before the trip.
Full Boat Charter:
10% deposit (non-refundable), additional 40% to be paid 180 days before the trip and remaining balance 90 days before the trip.
Short Notice Booking:
If booking is made 90 days before departure, full payment would be required.
Failure to fulfil payment schedule stipulated within your invoice give Dive Damai the right to cancel the trip without refund of all existing payment.
We accept all major Credit Card Payments. Terms and conditions as below:
Trip Payment (before your trip):
we accept online credit card payment through VERITRANS. Upon request, we will send you an online invoice that clearly show the Dive Damai logo. Upon clicking on the link included in that invoice, you will be redirected to VERITRANS secure server to complete the transaction. Rates are quoted and paid in USD, however, the payment will be converted into Indonesia Rupiah at that day's mid market rate of your bank (the rate they use to buy back into your credit card's currency). For Individual Booking customers, we do not charge any credit card fees for this.
On Board Charges (during the trip):
credit card on board is usually available. We will advice that you inform your bank of you using your card overseas to avoid any complications. A 3.5% credit card fee will be charged for this transaction.
Dive Damai reserves the right to amend prices printed on promotional materials such as brochure, email blast, Facebook post, etc. All booking request will be presented with an invoice and the invoice will be the confirmation of your booking that will not be altered.
The rate presented by Dive Damai in USD is subject to the minimum exchange rate of USD 1 : IDR13,000. Should the exchange rate fall below this parameter, Dive Damai has the right to request for compensation to make up for the exchange rate difference.
If the spot price of a barrel of Brent crude oil, as determined by the Operator by reference to the Bloomberg news website commodities page ( http://www.bloomberg.com/energy/), one hundred and twenty days (120) prior to the departure date of the relevant trip exceeds the following levels then the following supplemental charges per passenger (for 7 nights trip), will be added to the final payment of each invoice:
Between US$100.00 and US$109.99 per barrel: a charge of US$250 will be applied.
Between US$110 and US$119.99 per barrel: a charge of US$300 will be applied.
Above US$120 and until US$189.99 per barrel: a charge of US$500 will be applied.
Damai reserves the right to cancel the trip, should the price falls above USD189.99 per barrel.
The total of all payments submitted to Dive Damai bank account must be net in the full amount as stated on the invoice. No Bank transfer commission will be assumed by Dive Damai.

Day 1 | Raja Ampat

Pristine coral gardens and a viewpoint climb over the lagoon in Penemu, to the west. Meanwhile, the north is also an excellent place to dive with mantas in Kawe and hunt critters in Aljui Bay.

Day 2 | Triton Bay

Tucked away in the remote south region of Papua lies the vibrant reefs of Triton Bay. A location described by leading marine biologists as a “species factory” due to its huge fields of soft corals, giant sea fans and clouds of plankton-feeding fish, all fed by the incoming nutrient-rich river waters. Dive sites in this region are swarming with fish and almost every nook and cranny is occupied by an exotic invertebrate.

DIVE DAMAI liveaboard trips to Triton Bay explore the entire region. In the north is Namatote island, a great place to search for the elusive leopard shrimp on the colonial anemones. In the south is the current-rich Aiduma Strait with the iconic soft coral-covered dive site, Little Komodo. Payment Conditions
All payment(s) on board will be done in Indonesia Rupiah (IDR).
Payment schedule for your trip are stipulated within your invoice and are usually as below:
Individual Booking:
25% deposit and remaining balance 90 days before the trip.
Full Boat Charter:
10% deposit (non-refundable), additional 40% to be paid 180 days before the trip and remaining balance 90 days before the trip.
Short Notice Booking:
If booking is made 90 days before departure, full payment would be required.
Failure to fulfil payment schedule stipulated within your invoice give Dive Damai the right to cancel the trip without refund of all existing payment.
We accept all major Credit Card Payments. Terms and conditions as below:
Trip Payment (before your trip):
we accept online credit card payment through VERITRANS. Upon request, we will send you an online invoice that clearly show the Dive Damai logo. Upon clicking on the link included in that invoice, you will be redirected to VERITRANS secure server to complete the transaction. Rates are quoted and paid in USD, however, the payment will be converted into Indonesia Rupiah at that day's mid market rate of your bank (the rate they use to buy back into your credit card's currency). For Individual Booking customers, we do not charge any credit card fees for this.
On Board Charges (during the trip):
credit card on board is usually available. We will advice that you inform your bank of you using your card overseas to avoid any complications. A 3.5% credit card fee will be charged for this transaction.
Dive Damai reserves the right to amend prices printed on promotional materials such as brochure, email blast, Facebook post, etc. All booking request will be presented with an invoice and the invoice will be the confirmation of your booking that will not be altered.
The rate presented by Dive Damai in USD is subject to the minimum exchange rate of USD 1 : IDR13,000. Should the exchange rate fall below this parameter, Dive Damai has the right to request for compensation to make up for the exchange rate difference.
If the spot price of a barrel of Brent crude oil, as determined by the Operator by reference to the Bloomberg news website commodities page ( http://www.bloomberg.com/energy/), one hundred and twenty days (120) prior to the departure date of the relevant trip exceeds the following levels then the following supplemental charges per passenger (for 7 nights trip), will be added to the final payment of each invoice:
Between US$100.00 and US$109.99 per barrel: a charge of US$250 will be applied.
Between US$110 and US$119.99 per barrel: a charge of US$300 will be applied.
Above US$120 and until US$189.99 per barrel: a charge of US$500 will be applied.
Damai reserves the right to cancel the trip, should the price falls above USD189.99 per barrel.
The total of all payments submitted to Dive Damai bank account must be net in the full amount as stated on the invoice. No Bank transfer commission will be assumed by Dive Damai.
Alterations
All alterations must be made official via email (or postal mail if you prefer). For request made by post (if any), the letter must be delivered to the address in our contact page

Dive Damai reserves the right to alter the itinerary or given services due to unforeseen or unavoidable circumstances.
Dive Damai will inform the agent and/or client at the earliest possible time of such alterations and will make appropriate arrangements where possible to provide clients with a viable alternative.
In the unlikely event that a trip should be cancelled by Dive Damai, an alternative date will be offered to the agent or client and where such a date is unacceptable to the agent or client then a refund of the money paid for the trip by the agent or client will be considered.

Dive Damai reserves the right to cancel a trip due to unavoidable circumstances and will contact the agent and/or client at the earliest possible convenience.
Dive Damai reserves the right to cancel the trip and will not be required to offer an alternative or to refund any monies paid. Agents / guest will be directed to file for claims with their insurance of which Dive Damai will provide all required documentation for this.
Important Note:
Indonesia is situated in the middle of the Ring of Fire and as such is regularly affected by volcanic activity which can impact travel arrangements, domestic and international. In the event of trip cancellation due to unavoidable circumstances, Dive Damai terms and conditions below will prevail. Therefore all customers are
HIGHLY recommended
to purchase Travel Insurance and Trip Cancellation insurance upon booking of your trip.

Day 1 | Gorontalo

Gorontalo, being one of Indonesia’s lesser-dived areas, has excellent macro sites scattered around the mouth of the river, and steep walls famous for their exceptional Petrosia lignose (Salvador Dali sponge). Gorontalo liveaboard trips travel south to the Togean Islands nestled in the Gulf of Tomini.

Among this region are the extravagant reefs of Una Una island and the ever-sought-after Hippocampus waleananus (Walea pygmy seahorse) around Kadidiri island. A highlight of the Togeans is the well-known Red Jellyfish Lake. This freshwater lake is conveniently situated a short, two-minute walk to the shore where one can find many of the beautiful, non-stinging red jellyfish.

Located in North Sulawesi, Indonesia, is a premier diving destination known for its stunning biodiversity and crystal-clear waters. The city is a gateway to the famous Bunaken National Marine Park, which boasts some of the richest marine ecosystems in the world. Divers are drawn to the park’s dramatic wall dives, where they can encounter vibrant coral reefs, sea turtles, reef sharks, and an array of tropical fish.

Bunaken Marine Park is the main highlight, with steep drop-offs and lush coral gardens that teem with marine life. The park is home to over 70% of the Indo-Pacific's fish species, offering a diverse range of diving experiences. Nearby, Manado Bay and the Lembeh Strait provide even more opportunities for exploration, especially for macro photographers looking to capture rare critters like the mimic octopus and frogfish.

Payment Conditions
All payment(s) on board will be done in Indonesia Rupiah (IDR).
Payment schedule for your trip are stipulated within your invoice and are usually as below:
Individual Booking:
25% deposit and remaining balance 90 days before the trip.
Full Boat Charter:
10% deposit (non-refundable), additional 40% to be paid 180 days before the trip and remaining balance 90 days before the trip.
Short Notice Booking:
If booking is made 90 days before departure, full payment would be required.
Failure to fulfil payment schedule stipulated within your invoice give Dive Damai the right to cancel the trip without refund of all existing payment.
We accept all major Credit Card Payments. Terms and conditions as below:
Trip Payment (before your trip):
we accept online credit card payment through VERITRANS. Upon request, we will send you an online invoice that clearly show the Dive Damai logo. Upon clicking on the link included in that invoice, you will be redirected to VERITRANS secure server to complete the transaction. Rates are quoted and paid in USD, however, the payment will be converted into Indonesia Rupiah at that day's mid market rate of your bank (the rate they use to buy back into your credit card's currency). For Individual Booking customers, we do not charge any credit card fees for this.
On Board Charges (during the trip):
credit card on board is usually available. We will advice that you inform your bank of you using your card overseas to avoid any complications. A 3.5% credit card fee will be charged for this transaction.
Dive Damai reserves the right to amend prices printed on promotional materials such as brochure, email blast, Facebook post, etc. All booking request will be presented with an invoice and the invoice will be the confirmation of your booking that will not be altered.
The rate presented by Dive Damai in USD is subject to the minimum exchange rate of USD 1 : IDR13,000. Should the exchange rate fall below this parameter, Dive Damai has the right to request for compensation to make up for the exchange rate difference.

Dive Damai will inform the agent and/or client at the earliest possible time of such alterations and will make appropriate arrangements where possible to provide clients with a viable alternative.
In the unlikely event that a trip should be cancelled by Dive Damai, an alternative date will be offered to the agent or client and where such a date is unacceptable to the agent or client then a refund of the money paid for the trip by the agent or client will be considered.

Dive Damai reserves the right to cancel a trip due to unavoidable circumstances and will contact the agent and/or client at the earliest possible convenience.
Dive Damai reserves the right to cancel the trip and will not be required to offer an alternative or to refund any monies paid. Agents / guest will be directed to file for claims with their insurance of which Dive Damai will provide all required documentation for this.
Important Note:
Indonesia is situated in the middle of the Ring of Fire and as such is regularly affected by volcanic activity which can impact travel arrangements, domestic and international. In the event of trip cancellation due to unavoidable circumstances, Dive Damai terms and conditions below will prevail. Therefore all customers are

Payment Conditions
All payment(s) on board will be done in Indonesia Rupiah (IDR).
Payment schedule for your trip are stipulated within your invoice and are usually as below:
Individual Booking:
25% deposit and remaining balance 90 days before the trip.
Full Boat Charter:
10% deposit (non-refundable), additional 40% to be paid 180 days before the trip and remaining balance 90 days before the trip.
Short Notice Booking:
If booking is made 90 days before departure, full payment would be required.
Failure to fulfil payment schedule stipulated within your invoice give Dive Damai the right to cancel the trip without refund of all existing payment.
We accept all major Credit Card Payments. Terms and conditions as below:
Trip Payment (before your trip):
we accept online credit card payment through VERITRANS. Upon request, we will send you an online invoice that clearly show the Dive Damai logo. Upon clicking on the link included in that invoice, you will be redirected to VERITRANS secure server to complete the transaction. Rates are quoted and paid in USD, however, the payment will be converted into Indonesia Rupiah at that day's mid market rate of your bank (the rate they use to buy back into your credit card's currency). For Individual Booking customers, we do not charge any credit card fees for this.
On Board Charges (during the trip):
credit card on board is usually available. We will advice that you inform your bank of you using your card overseas to avoid any complications. A 3.5% credit card fee will be charged for this transaction.
Dive Damai reserves the right to amend prices printed on promotional materials such as brochure, email blast, Facebook post, etc. All booking request will be presented with an invoice and the invoice will be the confirmation of your booking that will not be altered.
The rate presented by Dive Damai in USD is subject to the minimum exchange rate of USD 1 : IDR13,000. Should the exchange rate fall below this parameter, Dive Damai has the right to request for compensation to make up for the exchange rate difference.

Between US$110 and US$119.99 per barrel: a charge of US$300 will be applied.
Above US$120 and until US$189.99 per barrel: a charge of US$500 will be applied.
Damai reserves the right to cancel the trip, should the price falls above USD189.99 per barrel.
The total of all payments submitted to Dive Damai bank account must be net in the full amount as stated on the invoice. No Bank transfer commission will be assumed by Dive Damai.
Alterations

Dive Damai will inform the agent and/or client at the earliest possible time of such alterations and will make appropriate arrangements where possible to provide clients with a viable alternative.
In the unlikely event that a trip should be cancelled by Dive Damai, an alternative date will be offered to the agent or client and where such a date is unacceptable to the agent or client then a refund of the money paid for the trip by the agent or client will be considered.

Dive Damai reserves the right to cancel a trip due to unavoidable circumstances and will contact the agent and/or client at the earliest possible convenience.
Dive Damai reserves the right to cancel the trip and will not be required to offer an alternative or to refund any monies paid. Agents / guest will be directed to file for claims with their insurance of which Dive Damai will provide all required documentation for this.
Important Note:
Indonesia is situated in the middle of the Ring of Fire and as such is regularly affected by volcanic activity which can impact travel arrangements, domestic and international. In the event of trip cancellation due to unavoidable circumstances, Dive Damai terms and conditions below will prevail. Therefore all customers are

to purchase Travel Insurance and Trip Cancellation insurance upon booking of your trip.

Day 1 | Alor

Diving the waters of Alor and Nusa Tenggara Timur brings sightings a surprising wealth of marine life, from the smallest of creatures to some of the largest mammals. Due to the protection of this area by the Indonesian government, migrating cetaceans passing through the straits to deeper feeding grounds in the Banda Sea have a safe and secure route.

With DIVE DAMAI there is little shortage in number and variety of dive sites to be explored around Alor. Muck diving enthusiasts will love the bays of Beangabang and Kalabahi, while wide-angle photographers will marvel in the fishy reef of Alor Kecil and colourful walls of Pulau Reta. Alor liveaboard trips take divers to see some of the most spectacular and untouched reefs that Indonesia has to offer. Along with a chance to witness unique behaviours of many rare and wonderful critters found in the Pantar Strait, divers can expect to see Rhinopias (lacey scorpionfish), pygmy seahorses, manta rays, schooling trevally and even the occasional whale.

Departing from Maumere or Kupang, our 7-10-night trips not only take you through the wonders of the Pantar Strait but to lesser dived areas including Rusa, Adonara and Serbete. Day 2 | Komodo

An experience unlike any other, diving in Komodo National Park is something every diver should try at least once. Odds are, once will not be enough. Divers return to Komodo National Park many times over for the abundance and variety of reef creatures, pelagics, vertebrates and invertebrates, both large and small. Komodo diving is widely regarded as some of the best in the world. The dive site diversity which includes shallow reefs, drop-offs and drift dives all create exceptional conditions worth coming back to.

Komodo liveaboard trips are inclusive of iconic dive sites such as Batu Bolong, Crystal & Castle Rock, as well as some lesser-visited gems in both the north and south of the region. Also incorporated is a trip ashore for a short trek to visit the endemic Komodo dragons.

Damai I and Damai II liveaboards offer dates throughout the year to visit this iconic National Park. Charters depart from Bima in Sumbawa and Labuanbajo in Flores. DIVE DAMAI can also combine this itinerary with diving in Bali or Alor.

Join Damai I and Damai II liveaboards for luxury trips out of the volcanic island of Ternate. We combine dives in Halmahera within our Raja Ampat itineraries.

Day 2 | Raja Ampat

Pristine coral gardens and a viewpoint climb over the lagoon in Penemu, to the west. Meanwhile, the north is also an excellent place to dive with mantas in Kawe and hunt critters in Aljui Bay.

Payment Conditions
All payment(s) on board will be done in Indonesia Rupiah (IDR).
Payment schedule for your trip are stipulated within your invoice and are usually as below:
Individual Booking:
25% deposit and remaining balance 90 days before the trip.
Full Boat Charter:
10% deposit (non-refundable), additional 40% to be paid 180 days before the trip and remaining balance 90 days before the trip.
Short Notice Booking:
If booking is made 90 days before departure, full payment would be required.
Failure to fulfil payment schedule stipulated within your invoice give Dive Damai the right to cancel the trip without refund of all existing payment.
We accept all major Credit Card Payments. Terms and conditions as below:
Trip Payment (before your trip):
we accept online credit card payment through VERITRANS. Upon request, we will send you an online invoice that clearly show the Dive Damai logo. Upon clicking on the link included in that invoice, you will be redirected to VERITRANS secure server to complete the transaction. Rates are quoted and paid in USD, however, the payment will be converted into Indonesia Rupiah at that day's mid market rate of your bank (the rate they use to buy back into your credit card's currency). For Individual Booking customers, we do not charge any credit card fees for this.
On Board Charges (during the trip):
credit card on board is usually available. We will advice that you inform your bank of you using your card overseas to avoid any complications. A 3.5% credit card fee will be charged for this transaction.
Dive Damai reserves the right to amend prices printed on promotional materials such as brochure, email blast, Facebook post, etc. All booking request will be presented with an invoice and the invoice will be the confirmation of your booking that will not be altered.
The rate presented by Dive Damai in USD is subject to the minimum exchange rate of USD 1 : IDR13,000. Should the exchange rate fall below this parameter, Dive Damai has the right to request for compensation to make up for the exchange rate difference.
If the spot price of a barrel of Brent crude oil, as determined by the Operator by reference to the Bloomberg news website commodities page ( http://www.bloomberg.com/energy/), one hundred and twenty days (120) prior to the departure date of the relevant trip exceeds the following levels then the following supplemental charges per passenger (for 7 nights trip), will be added to the final payment of each invoice:
Between US$100.00 and US$109.99 per barrel: a charge of US$250 will be applied.
Between US$110 and US$119.99 per barrel: a charge of US$300 will be applied.
Above US$120 and until US$189.99 per barrel: a charge of US$500 will be applied.
Damai reserves the right to cancel the trip, should the price falls above USD189.99 per barrel.
The total of all payments submitted to Dive Damai bank account must be net in the full amount as stated on the invoice. No Bank transfer commission will be assumed by Dive Damai.
Alterations
All alterations must be made official via email (or postal mail if you prefer). For request made by post (if any), the letter must be delivered to the address in our contact page
