Nusantara
The Nusantara is cruising the Komodo National park all year long and offers a clean and comfortable budget liveaboard experience. The Nusantara is 21 meters long and 3 meters wide and offers a spacious deck to relax between dives. It can host up to 12 divers.
The dorm cabin located below the deck can host up to 8 guests. 4 more spaces are available on the top covered deck. The 8 dorm beds each have a privacy curtain, a fan, a light, power sockets and a personal storage area. There are 2 bathrooms with western style toilets and hot showers.
At the top of boat, you can relax and sunbath on the sun deck. There is also a shaded area where you can just chill in a beanbag.
The main deck is where you will find the dining area. All meals are freshly cooked by an experienced chef. Wter, tea, coffee, fresh fruits and snacks are also provided. Alcoholic beverages and soft drinks are available to purchase.
The diving deck is located at the back of the boat and is quite spacious for easy gearing up and entering the water. The dive equipment is recent and well maintained.

Below-deck dorm with 8 bunk beds, each fitted with a privacy curtain, personal fan, reading light, power sockets, and individual storage. Two shared bathrooms with western-style toilets and hot showers serve the cabin.

Shaded open-air sleeping area on the top covered deck, accommodating 4 guests. A relaxed, budget-friendly option with direct access to the sun deck.

Komodo Central and North

The trip
3 days and 9 dives in central and northern Komodo, with an early visit to the Komodo dragons.
Check in at Mikumba's dive centre in Labuan Bajo the afternoon before departure, to set up your gear. The boat does not run in February, Mikumba's maintenance month.

Day 1
Meet at Mikumba's dive centre in Labuan Bajo and board Nusantara in the morning. Welcome drink, boat and safety briefing, then a check dive, a second dive in the afternoon and a night dive.
Day 2
An early dragon walk before the crowds arrive, then 3 dives in the centre of the park, perhaps a manta site or Batu Bolong, before the boat heads north.
Day 3
The north of the park, at Castle Rock, Crystal Rock and The Cauldron. Then the cruise back to Labuan Bajo, arriving in the afternoon.

4 days in southern and central Komodo, with the Padar hike and a dragon walk.

A morning walk to see the dragons, 2 dives, then lunch and a third dive in the centre of the park.
Day 4
3 dives in the centre, at Batu Bolong, Tatawa Kecil and Tatawa Besar, depending on tides and weather. Then the cruise back to Labuan Bajo.
