Pindito
Pindito was the first dedicated dive liveaboard in Indonesia. She runs cruises from Raja Ampat to Komodo and the Banda Sea to Alor, through the Coral Triangle, the richest marine region on Earth.
Trips combine diving and snorkelling with whale watching and visits ashore.
The Cabins
Pindito has 8 cabins in traditional Pinisi style. Each is air conditioned, with a private ensuite bathroom, hot shower and daily housekeeping. Six convert between double and twin, and two are twin, taking up to 16 guests.




Destinations
- Komodo National Park (May to August)
A UNESCO World Heritage Site where volcanic islands sit alongside the reefs and the Komodo dragons. Manta rays, sharks, turtles and world-class drift dives. - Raja Ampat (November to March)
The most biodiverse marine habitat on the planet. Coral gardens, mangroves and current-swept channels with mantas, barracuda and pygmy seahorses. - The Forgotten Islands
Remote and rarely visited. Reefs, seamounts and deep water with schooling fish, hammerheads and saltwater crocodiles. - Triton Bay (December to February)
West Papua, with soft coral gardens, limestone cliffs, whale sharks and species described only recently. - Halmahera & Malkusea (January to February)
Between Raja Ampat and Sulawesi. Reefs, pelagic action and coral slopes, with volcanic scenery and traditional villages. - Banda Sea & Banda Islands (October to November)
The historic Spice Islands. Volcanic walls, coral slopes and seamounts with hammerheads, mobulas and tuna. - Biodiversity Cruise (September to October)
A route through Indonesia’s richest marine regions, from Flores to Banda to Raja Ampat, taking in pygmy seahorses, mantas, coral gardens and volcanic scenery. - Whale & Macro Cruise (October to November)
Whale watching combined with macro diving. Sperm whales, orcas and dolphins at the surface, nudibranchs and pygmy seahorses below.











The Vessel
The Vessel: MV Pindito
Indonesia’s first dedicated dive liveaboard, MV Pindito is a 38-metre handcrafted Pinisi. She takes 16 guests.
