Itinerary
Day 1: Palopo – Rantepao
Upon arrival at Airport in Palopo, transfer to Toraja. Visit the vibrant buffalo, pig, and livestock market, a cultural highlight of the region. After lunch, explore the ancient megalithic stones at Bori and the traditional Toraja village of Palawa. Continue to Batutumonga, known for its stunning mountain views, for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Trekking Adventure in Toraja
Begin the day with a trek from Batutumonga through scenic landscapes, including Lokkomata’s famous burial sites, bamboo forests, rice fields, and traditional villages such as Kata, Sumpia’, Tiroan, and Sereale. Return to the hotel by car and enjoy a restful evening. Overnight at Torsina or Indra Hotel.
Day 3: Exploring Toraja’s Iconic Sites
Embark on a cultural tour visiting the iconic Toraja burial cliffs at Lemo, the hanging graves at Suaya and Sirope, the cave graves of Tampangallo, and other sites like Tumbangdatu and Karuaya. Additionally, visit the unique Baby Grave in a Tree at Pote, a deeply spiritual and fascinating tradition. Return to the same hotel for another overnight stay.

Day 4: Toraja – Tentena
The journey from Rantepao to Tentena takes approximately 11 hours, including a stop for lunch along the way. You’ll travel through beautiful and diverse landscapes, offering plenty of scenic views to enjoy during the trip. Upon arrival, you’ll stay overnight in Tentena.
Day 5: Tentena – Salu Opa Waterfall – Ampana
Start the day with a visit to the beautiful Salu Opa Waterfall before departing for Ampana. The journey takes approximately six hours by car, passing through stunning landscapes along the way. Overnight stay in Ampana.
Day 6: Ampana – Wakai – Togian
Take a boat from Ampana to Wakai and then continue to Kadidiri Paradise, a serene retreat in the Togian Islands.
Day 7-10: Exploring the Togian Islands(Diving or Snorkeling)
Spend four days immersed in the natural beauty of the Togian Islands, an archipelago of 56 islands in Tomini Bay. Covered in lush tropical forests and surrounded by pristine coral reefs, the islands are a paradise for marine and wildlife enthusiasts. The waters, averaging 32°C with visibility up to 50 meters, are home to an array of unique species.
The Togian Islands are not just about nature; they are also a cultural melting pot where 37 villages peacefully coexist. These communities are made up of diverse ethnic groups such as the Babongko, Togian, Saluan, and the sea nomads, the Bajau. Explore their way of life, snorkel with stingless jellyfish, and take boat trips to fully immerse yourself in this untouched paradise.
Day 11: Togian – Wakai – Ampana – Palu/Luwuk
After breakfast, take a boat from the hotel to Wakai, then transfer by public speedboat to Ampana or by ferry to Gorontalo. Continue by private transport to Palu or Luwuk for an overnight stay.
Note: For Gorontali, ferry departs from (Togian) Wakai every Monday and Thursday.
Day 12: Departure
Transfer to the airport, end of Tour.
