
7 Days Flores Tour β Labuan Bajo β Waerebo β Riung β Kelimutu
A 7-day journey across Flores, from Labuan Bajo through Waerebo, Ruteng, Bajawa, Riung and Kelimutu. Traditional villages, mountain roads and natural hot springs along the way.
The tour ends at Kelimutu volcano, where three crater lakes sit side by side in different colors. It covers both the landscape and the culture of the island.
Itinerary
Day 1: Labuan Bajo β Rumah Tenun – Cunca Plias Waterfall β Waerebo Lodge



Begin your adventure with a pick-up from Labuan Bajo, followed by a visit to Rumah Tenun Baku Peduli Labuan Bajo, where you can learn about traditional weaving techniques and see beautifully crafted fabrics made by local artisans. Continue to Cunca Plias Waterfall, where you can enjoy the natural beauty of the cascading waters. After lunch at a local restaurant, continue your journey to the lodge near Waerebo, where youβll spend the night. Dinner will be provided, giving you time to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
Day 2: Trekking to Waerebo Village


After breakfast, drive to the trailhead for Waerebo Village. A short ojek ride takes you partway, then a 2 to 3 hour guided trek through forest. Lunch on arrival, an afternoon in the village, and the night in one of the local houses, with dinner and breakfast included.
Day 3: Waerebo β Spider Web Ricefields β Hobbit Cave – Rana Mese Lake (optional) – Bajawa



After trekking down from Waerebo Village, the first stop is the Spider Web Rice Fields, paddies laid out in a circular pattern known locally as lingko. The design comes from the communal land division system of the Manggarai people.
Next, the Hobbit Cave (Liang Bua), the archaeological site where the remains of Homo floresiensis, a small hominid nicknamed βthe Hobbitβ, were found.
If time permits, stop at Rana Mese Lake, a crater lake ringed by rainforest. Calm water and cool mountain air.
Lunch at a local spot, then on to Bajawa, a highland town known for its cool climate, traditional villages and mountain scenery. Dinner and the night there.
Day 4: Bajawa β Riung β Hot Spring


After breakfast, weβll visit a traditional village in Bajawa known for its unique thatched-roof houses arranged in terraces. Next, depart for Riung, a coastal village famed for its marine beauty. Enjoy a relaxing soak in the nearby hot springs, rejuvenating in the natural warm waters. After lunch at a local spot, settle in for the evening with dinner and a peaceful nightβs rest.
Day 5: Riung 17 Islands Marine Park β Drive to Kelimutu


A day on a private boat around Riung’s 17 Islands Marine Park, snorkeling and stopping at the beaches, with lunch on board. In the afternoon, drive to Kelimutu for the night and dinner.
Day 6: Kelimutu National Park β Blue Stone Beach



Rise early for the hike in Kelimutu National Park, where three crater lakes change color with the seasons. They sit high on Mount Kelimutu, surrounded by misty forest, and are at their best in the first light. Rare birds along the way, and wide views over the Flores highlands.
Afterwards, Saga Traditional Village, where steep-roofed houses ring a central courtyard and the Lio heritage carries on through weaving and ceremony. The journey ends with lunch at Blue Stone Beach, where the shore is covered in smooth turquoise, blue and green stones against black sand.
Day 7: Drive to Ende Airport
On the final day, take a leisurely drive to Ende Airport for your departure, completing your 7-day journey across the beautiful landscapes of Flores.

Please note that the price for Kelimutu National Park is based on weekdays (IDR 150.000/ person). If you visit the park on a weekend, the price increases to IDR 225.000/ person. An additional charge of IDR 75.000 per person will apply for weekend visits.
