Just 45 minutes from Bali’s bustling shores lies one of Indonesia’s most spectacular marine encounters – Manta Point in Nusa Penida. This world-famous site offers visitors the incredible opportunity to dive or snorkel with graceful manta rays in their natural habitat.

The Dive Site

Protected within a bay along Nusa Penida’s dramatic coastline, Manta Point is a cleaning station where reef manta rays gather throughout the year. While surface conditions can be challenging with waves and surge, the underwater environment is relatively calm. The cleaning station begins at just 4 meters deep, with the site gradually sloping down to 25 meters, making it accessible for both snorkelers and divers of various experience levels.

Best Time to Dive Manta Point

While mantas can be spotted year-round, the site gets particularly busy during the peak season (July to September). At Ocean Earth Travels, we carefully plan our trips to avoid the crowds, ensuring you get the most peaceful and memorable encounter possible with these magnificent creatures.
