About Amaya Explorer
Skilled craftsmen in the heart of Sulawesi meticulously constructed this Phinisi in the core Kampung of Bulukumba. They inherited expertise from ancient boat builders and crafted Amaya with passion and attention to detail. The remarkable explorer took two years to make, with its body structured efficiently.
Designed with opulence and modernity in mind, the main deck provides utmost comfort. Relax with a cup of coffee and enjoy impeccable delicacies prepared by the talented Chef on board. Whether you wish to bask in the sun on the day bed or enjoy breathtaking views while socializing with other travelers, the main deck is the perfect place to do that.
On the upper deck, you will find the Master deluxe room with a balcony overlooking the sea. It features a luxurious en suite bathroom complete with organic toiletries sourced from the best local suppliers. Ideal for families, the two master suites have a connecting door, allowing guests to stay close to their loved ones.
The lower deck houses the exclusive digital lounge, thoughtfully designed to cater to your passion for underwater photography. It offers a dedicated desk to work on and set up your gear. Each room is equipped with a double size bottom bunk bed, comfortably accommodating two people, with full AC and a private bathroom.
AMBAR 1 & 2 – Lower Deck
Each room features a single-size bed in a bunk bed configuration, accommodating two people, with full AC and a private bathroom.
Activities On Board Amaya Explorer
While scuba diving takes center stage on the journey, it is not the sole experience offered. Indulge in leisurely activities such as stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking, snorkeling, free diving, and soothing yoga. For thrill-seeking divers, the diving routes often lead to encounters with magnificent creatures like whale sharks, hammerheads, and other marine life in the deep blue. A delightful experience for underwater photographers! Advanced open water divers can expect a variety of challenging yet rewarding dives with us, including Komodo Island and other striking locations.
