Damai I

Sail around Indonesia with Damai I, a magnificent liveaboard designed to provide diving experience for small groups. The boat sails in Bali, Komodo, Raja Ampat, Sulawesi, Banda Sea & Alor. Discover Indonesia’s underwater wonders in the most optimal conditions, with a maximum ratio of 4 divers per guide and two comfortable speedboats with experienced drivers.

About Damai I Liveaboard

Damai I was built in 2009 by Pak Hadji Baso in Tanjung Bira, South Sulawesi, using traditional methods and drawing on years of Indonesian liveaboard diving experience.

Damai I has seven staterooms: singles, twins, doubles and master cabins. Each has a queen- or king-sized bed and an en-suite toilet and shower.

The Cabins

Lower Deck

The Cabins 1 to 4 have a desk, a wardrobe, three reading lights and a bed side table. Of course, the rooms are fully air-conditioned and have en-suite facilities, where the shower has a dividing glass door.

There are 2 writing desks, 2 wardrobes, 2 bed side tables and four reading lights. Also this room is fully air-conditioned, has a panoramic ocean views and en-suite facilities where there’s a separate shower and toilet.

Main Deck

• Cabin 6, Master Cabin – USD 735/night

It has a direct access to a private balcony, inside the cabins, the en-suite shower and toilet facilities are devided into two compartments. Of course the room is fully air-conditioned.

Upper Deck

• Cabin 7, King or Twin Bed Cabin – USD 640/night

In the cabin, there is a desk, in-room sink unit and en-suite combined toilet and shower facilities. Moreover, the room is fully air conditioned and is located on the upper deck with direct access to the sun decks.

Diving Experience with Damai 1

The dive stations have individual rinse tanks, and the camera room has separate workstations with 110v and 220v charging. Damai I carries three local dive guides and one instructor, and with a maximum of 12 guests that gives a 4:1 guest to guide ratio. Two custom high-speed tenders run divers to the sites.
